Author Steve Tasane will be reading from his children's book and will be talking about his Father's fligh from Estonia

Steve Tasane is a performance poet and author who has featured at Glastonbury Festival, the 100 Club, Latitude and was writer-in-residence at Battersea Dogs Home. He runs poetry/rap workshops in schools around the UK. Steve will be reading extracts from his children's book "This Book Roars!" and his refugee novel "Child I". He will explain how his father's experience fleeing to England from Estonia has informed his life as a writer. This is a family friendly event open to all. Adults and children are welcome.
